How to Request Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and personal data using any of the following methods:
Option 1: Request via this page (recommended)
Complete the Account Deletion Request form on this page. We will verify your identity using the registered email or phone number associated with your account and process your request.
Option 2: Email us directly
Send an email to medhyxtechnology@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include:
- Your full name
- Registered email address or phone number
- Name of the app or product you use (e.g., School ERP, Lab Management)
- Organization or institute name (if applicable)
- A clear statement that you want your account and personal data deleted
Option 3: Delete from within the app (where available)
If your app version supports it, you may delete your account directly:
- Open the Medhyx Technology app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Profile or Account Settings.
- Select Delete Account or Request Account Deletion.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm deletion.
If you do not see this option in your app, please use Option 1 or Option 2 above.
What Happens After You Submit a Request
- We will send a confirmation email within 3 business days acknowledging your request.
- We may contact you to verify your identity before processing deletion.
- Once verified, we will delete or anonymize your account and associated personal data within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
- You will receive a final confirmation when deletion is complete.
Data That Will Be Deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize personal data linked to your account, including but not limited to:
- Account profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Login credentials and authentication tokens
- User preferences and app settings
- Personal activity logs tied to your user ID
- Profile photos or uploaded personal files (where applicable)
- Device identifiers associated solely with your account
Data That May Be Retained
Some data may be retained after account deletion for legal, security, or operational reasons:
- Transaction and billing records — retained as required by applicable tax and financial laws (typically up to 7 years where legally required).
- Support correspondence — up to 24 months from ticket closure for dispute resolution and service quality.
- Security and fraud prevention logs — up to 24 months for security monitoring and legal compliance.
- Anonymized or aggregated data — data that can no longer identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement.
- Organization-held records — if your account is managed by a school, lab, gym, or library, certain operational records (e.g., attendance, fees, memberships) may remain with the organization as part of their business records. Contact your organization for details.
- Backup systems — residual copies may exist in encrypted backups for a limited period and are deleted according to our backup retention schedule.

Processing Time
- Identity verification: up to 7 business days
- Account and data deletion: up to 30 days after verification
- Backup purge: up to 90 days (residual encrypted backup copies only)
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose access to all data and services linked to your account.
- If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before requesting deletion or contact us for assistance.
- Deleting your account does not automatically delete data held by third-party services integrated with our platform.
- Parents or guardians may request deletion of a minor's account by contacting us with proof of guardianship.
